Is it possible to be a successful university leader and still have balance? Yes it is but you can’t leave it to chance. You need some strategies and techniques to deal with the many competing priorities and demands of a leadership role. And in this masterclass you will learn practical things you can do to get more balance for yourself and those you work with.

Hugh Kearns is recognised internationally as a public speaker, educator and researcher. He regularly lectures at leading universities across the world including Oxford, Harvard, Stanford and of course Bristol. He is the author of numerous books and a series of articles in the journal Nature.
His areas of expertise include self-management, positive psychology, work-life balance, learning and creativity. Hugh lectures and researches at Flinders University, Adelaide, Australia and runs a company called Thinkwell.
