    Passionate about supporting individuals in the development and self-management of their working lives, Clare joined the University as a coach in 2006. Working with the whole person, she coaches individuals in an empathic and supportive way that also provides focus, challenge and results. She has a particular interest in supporting the development of female leaders.

     

    Clare brings over 20 years’ experience of change management, leadership and management development, human resources management, and recruitment to her role. When not coaching, Clare contributes to the broader organisational development agenda within the University, leading on mentoring and running workshops which currently include MBTI and Leadership, Coaching Skills, Mentoring Skills, Networking and Exploring Personality Type.

     

    Outside the University Clare works as an Executive Coach specialising in career transition (including into retirement), a facilitator and trainer mainly in the public, voluntary and small business sectors. Recent clients have included NHS acute Trusts, Alzheimers’ Society and @Bristol.

     

    Holding an ILM Level 7 Diploma in Executive Mentoring and Coaching, Clare has completed advanced coach training as an Analytic Network Coach focussing on coaching leaders.

     

    She is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Personnel and Development, adheres to the CIPD Code of Professional Conduct and is qualified to use both Myers Briggs and FIRO-B psychometric tools.
