Teaching@Bristol for research staff

Teaching@Bristol for Research Staff

Academic Staff Development are running half day sessions designed for research staff who are currently engaged in teaching as part of their role at the University of Bristol or looking to take on university teaching. These sessions give you an opportunity to review your teaching practice across lecturing and small group teaching through identifying areas of good practice and exploring a range of teaching strategies to engage and enhance the student learning experience.

The sessions are three hours long and focus on either small group teaching or lecturing. You can attend one or both sessions depending on your teaching contexts, however places are limited and allocated on a first-come-first-served basis so please ensure you sign up quickly to avoid disappointment.

Academic Staff Development also offer small group teaching and lecturing sessions as part of our main training programme, these sessions also meet the training requirements of research staff so if you have attended either of them there is no requirement to attend Teaching@Bristol.
