Community Event: Academic Journeys

poster 1If you’re considering how to progress your academic career and would like to hear from other academics about the people who have helped, influenced, and inspired them along the way, then these events are for you!

We are excited to announce this afternoon event to introduce mentoring and its value in supporting career development. This is in support of The Bristol Clear Mentoring Scheme for Pathway 2 research staff, which will be opening for its fourth round in March 2020.

The afternoon is informal and will feature brief talks from a range of academics, with a chance to ask questions and an opportunity to network. Speakers are drawn from all levels, and all areas of the university and offer a huge wealth of experience. We would love for you to join us to hear how people’s careers have been shaped by the support of others.

Come along to celebrate being part of our unique academic community and acknowledge the fact that no one does it alone! This will give you the chance to meet with people across different disciplines and make some new connections.

This event is for all Pathway 2 research staff.
