Divisional overview

External Relations is responsible for marketing the University to prospective undergraduate and postgraduate students, in the UK and internationally. The Directorate takes the lead in developing strategy in these areas and oversees university policy in support of undergraduate and postgraduate admissions and tuition fee setting. We deliver a wide range of recruitment activities in the UK and beyond as well as supporting the University’s academic community with promotion of their programmes. We are also responsible for selecting all undergraduate students and co-ordinate procedures for postgraduate application processing, in consultation with faculty offices. The International Office, which forms part of the Directorate, also recruits to and administers the Study Abroad and Erasmus exchange schemes.
