Prospective undergraduates | Open Days | Scholarships | Prospective postgraduates
We offer a comprehensive range of Single and Joint Honours programmes. Full programme details, including entry requirements and contact details can be found in our Undergraduate prospectus.
An Honours degree in science opens up a wide range of careers. Bristol science graduates are prized by industry, being rated second only to Cambridge graduates in a recent survey. Over half of our graduates achieve First Class or Upper Second Class Honours Degrees, which allow the possibility of studying for a higher degree and a career in research. You can also use a science degree as a general qualification to enter a wide range of careers as diverse as banking, accountancy, publishing, teaching and administration.
You can find additional information on our main prospective undergraduates page.
Open Days are an ideal opportunity to find out more about academic and social life at the University.
You can find out more about the Open Days and download the most recent programme from the main University Open Days page. Some departments within the Faculty of Science also offer prospective students the opportunity to visit at other times during the year. Further details are given on individual departmental webpages.
The Faculty of Science offers a number of scholarships and bursaries in addition to those available to all students. We are fortunate in being able to attract some of the best students in the world to come to study science here at Bristol and our International Science Scholarships are intended to reward and encourage excellence in science. We award ten scholarships each year to international undergraduate students following science degree programmes. These scholarships are worth £1000 per annum and are annually renewable subject to continued excellent performance.
We are also able to offer scholarships to home undergraduate students through the Eliahou Dangoor scholarship scheme. Further details of these scholarships, which are intended to promote widening participation in science, mathematics and engineering are available from our Student Funding Office web pages.
If you would like further information about scholarships and bursaries, then please do not hesitate to contact us.
