Welcome to the University of Bristol Resource Managers Group.
Our purpose is to provide resource managers in schools and faculties with a supportive environment for peer networking and professional development.
We aim, as a group, to maintain and increase confidence and ability in managers through peer support, open discussion of common issues, individual and group training, and by facilitating engagement and communication between the University’s senior managers and its principal managers in schools and faculties.
We usually meet four times a year for full or half away days, plus occasional additional meetings regarding specific topics. The meetings are very well attended and we often have senior officers of the University presenting. We also communicate via email and our website to gather or disseminate relevant information.

To manage the agenda and provide directional guidance there is a steering group. Any member of the committee can be contacted regarding agenda items so please get in touch with ideas for future meetings or if you would like to present to the group.
