The Centre for Surgical Research, based in the University of Bristol, is a consortium led by the Bristol Medical School in collaboration with the two UKCRN registered clinical trials units in Bristol: the Clinical Trials and Evaluation Unit and Bristol Randomised Trials Collaboration. The centre is closely linked with the Bristol Surgical Trials Centre (Royal College of Surgeons), the Musculoskeletal Research Unit, the MRC ConDuCT-II (Collaboration and Innovation in Difficult Randomised Controlled Trials in Invasive Interventions) Hub and the Surgical Innovation theme of the Bristol Biomedical Research Centre.
