ConDuCT-II was well represented at the 3rd International Clinical Trials Methodology Conference in Glasgow in November. Various members and affiliates of Theme 4 presented a number of interesting talks and posters, including work on the development of core outcome sets and single outcome measures for use by either patients or health professionals. Members of the theme have also contributed to a successful COMET Initiative meeting in London in January, talking to COS developers about their experiences and issues to consider when developing core sets. Finally, a number of papers reporting on the development of core information and core outcome sets have recently been submitted.
