International students and Postgraduate students who have received an offer letter and an email about programme deposits from the University of Bristol, and who are required to make a deposit towards their tuition fees prior to their arrival. Please make this payment via your Applicant Portal which can be accessed via your offer letter.
If you are studying a Pre-Sessional English programme or you are an international PGCE offer holder and are required to pay a deposit, you can do so via the university's student payments provider, Flywire.
Students whose sponsor (for example, a government department, company or charity) will be paying their tuition fees should not pay a deposit. Sponsors will be invoiced and requested to pay the full fee.
Students who are already enrolled at the University of Bristol can pay their fees from the Fees and Funding channel in their financial statement, following registration for the new academic year.
In order to process a deposit you will need:
As a minimum you must pay a deposit amount of £2,000 (or the full course fee for pre-sessional language courses). You may increase this amount up to the total cost of your tuition fee for the first year.
A Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) number will be issued to you once you have met all the conditions attached to your offer of admission, and have confirmed your place with the University. If a deposit is paid to the University before this time, the amount paid will be displayed in your CAS.
International student programme deposits are non-transferable and non-refundable except under the exceptional circumstances outlined in the International Deposit Refunds Policy. Please refer to the Policy before making your payment.
We look forward to welcoming you to the University. If you have any queries regarding your admission, please contact your Faculty Office.
