Part description |
As with the venue, the time and date of the performance were ultimately decided by programmer Nikki Millican, in consultation with Richard. I Never Done Enough Weird Stuff' was performed twice at the National Review of Live Art in 1996; at 6.30 PM on October 31st and 7.30 PM on November 1st. Another version of the work (entitled Stuff) took place later in Cleveland in the US. At this time Richard was working on his book which was to be released in 1997. The duration of the work would have been estimated at forty-five minutes as Richard doesn't rehearse his performances in their entirety. Richard sees this mid-nineties period as one in which many people were re-discovering performance art, and one in which work at National Review was becoming more 'social' and less 'industrial'. |
