The Working Together with Parents Network, hosted by the Norah Fry Research Centre, celebrated its successes at a recent party, hosted by The Baring Foundation in London. You can read about the celebration here.
The Network was set up to make sure parents with learning disabilities got better support to look after their own children.
At the party, the Norah Fry Research Centre launched publication of ' Supporting parents with learning disabilities and difficulties: Stories of positive practice' - a collection of real life stories of parents with learning disabilities who have had the right support to enable them to look after their children. Hard copies are available from the Centre for £5 to cover postage and packaging. Please contact Sammantha Cave - Tel: 0117 331 0982
