The University of Bristol delivered its first high profile international careers fair in China.

This high profile student recruitment event attracted over 400 recent graduates and representatives from top graduate employers such as Abercrombie and Fitch, Apple, EY, HSBC, IBM, Unilever and many more.
 
Professor Nick Lieven, Pro Vice-Chancellor at the University said “The University of Bristol considers the employment of its graduates in the world’s best companies as one of its most important priorities. We welcome this landmark event in Shanghai and are pleased to have attracted such leading graduate recruiters to meet our talented and innovative graduates.”
 
Richard King, Senior Managing Director, North and Eastern China for Michael Page said, “It was a great opportunity to meet so many recent returnee Chinese graduates from Bristol alongside a group of high quality corporate employers.”
 
“Bristol already has an extensive portfolio of careers fairs that are among the most successful in the UK” commented Stuart Johnson, Director of Careers Service at the University.  “I am delighted that this range of high profiled events now includes careers fairs in China. Further information

The fair was delivered as part of the GW4 partnership with the Universities of Bath, Cardiff. And Exeter. Planning is now underway to deliver a larger event in Shanghai and to include  further events in Beijing and Hong Kong in 2016.
