This prestigious international award was announced in August at a meeting of the World Association for the Advancement of Veterinary Parasitology in Perth, Australia. The citation reads: ‘Professor Richard Wall has delivered an outstanding contribution to research in the field of veterinary parasitology with a significant impact in theoretical and applied parasitology.’
Professor Wall’s research uses basic studies of the ecology of arthropod parasites, particularly flies, ticks, mites and lice, to help develop more sustainable management approaches.
