Engage 2010

13 August 2010

The Centre for Public Engagement is holding its second conference about public engagement at the University of Bristol on 23 September. The conference is free and open to all University staff and postgraduate students with an interest in public engagement.

This one-day event will bring University colleagues and external partners together to share their experiences of public engagement and learn about the range of activity at the University. Delegates will have the opportunity to hear city leaders’ perspectives on what it means to be an ‘engaged university’, meet and exchange ideas with colleagues and potential partners and take part in innovative training and workshop sessions.

The event will take place in the Victoria Rooms, Queen’s Road, from 9 am to 5 pm (lunch is provided), followed by a drinks reception and screening of the Mathematical Ethnographies films at Royal Fort House from 5 pm to 6.30 pm.

More information is available on the Centre for Public Engagement website, where you can also register by filling out a short online form. Alternatively, please contact Diane Thorne, email diane.thorne@bristol.ac.uk, tel  0117 33 18318.
