Sir Michael Angus, a Bristol graduate who led the University's ambitious Campaign for Resource in the 1990s, passed away in March.
Sir Michael Angus, former Chairman of Unilever and a Bristol graduate (BSc Mathematics 1951) who led the University's ten-year Campaign for Resource that concluded in 2001, passed away in March.
Sir Michael was awarded an Honorary DSc in 1990 and was made an Honorary Fellow of the University of Bristol - the highest honour the University can bestow - in 1998.
Several newspapers published obituaries of Sir Michael, including The Times (available to read online).
