The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Eric Thomas, was on hand to welcome some of the new undergraduates to the University of Bristol this week - including a group of Bristol-born students who are also part of the long-running Children of the 90s project, which is based at the University.
The project has followed the health and development of over 10,000 children born in the Bristol area between April 1991 and December 1992. The information that Children of the 90s continues to collect from the families forms an invaluable resource for health researchers all over the world.
