Professor Dixon to chair Hospitals Trust

Professor Richard Dixon in the School of Chemistry has been elected Chairman of the Charitable Trust for the United Bristol Hospitals.

Richard Dixon, Emeritus Professor of Chemistry and Senior Research Fellow in the School of Chemistry, has been elected Chairman of the Charitable Trust for the United Bristol Hospitals.

The Trust is the registered charity supporting the hospitals, wards and departments within the United Bristol Healthcare NHS Trust (UBHT). Its aim is to enhance healthcare in Bristol to the benefit of patients and staff and through the support of medical research, some of which is carried out by staff at Bristol. Professor Dixon is a former Vice-Chairman of the UBHT.
