The University of Bristol has been ranked ‘Top university in the south west’ in The Sunday Times University Guide [published 14 September].  The University also rose to seventh in the newspaper’s national league table of 125 universities – its highest-ever position.

Bristol’s teaching and research excellence, its very low dropout rate and the exceptionally low percentage of its graduates who are unemployed after six months all contributed to the University’s high ranking.
