Music Theatre Bristol is one of the largest performing arts societies and provides numerous opportunities to get involved as a performer or as part of the band/orchestra. Our biggest show of the year, Showcase, will be taking place in November, with a full orchestra and a cast of 70. This year we will be putting on full-length musicals, cabarets, 48 Hour Musicals, and an MTB Newbies show, as well as holding regular musical theatre repertoire workshops. We are always looking for rehearsal pianists, instrumentalists for our orchestras, and singers for our shows, so we would love you to get involved!

BOpS is a flourishing society dedicated to allowing students to discover the world of opera. Regardless of previous experience, we offer opportunities to aspiring singers, instrumentalists, dancers, choreographers, conductors, directors and producers. This year’s main show, The Marriage of Figaro, will be put on in the spring term. Two smaller productions, including Dido and Aeneas, will be put on as part of our annual BOpSFest in the autumn term. BOpS also has regular opportunities to perform and get involved with the society in regular arias concerts, cabarets and masterclasses throughout the year. Join us!
