The Department of Mechanical Engineering is a forward-thinking Department with balanced strengths in teaching and research, inside an integrated Faculty which also includes the Departments of Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Engineering Mathematics and Computer Science.  Many of our staff are world-class experts in their area of research and are active in developing new methodologies and technologies in modern research laboratories. This helps us to provide students with relevant project assignments and up-to-date course material.
