On the occasion of the 65th birthday of Michiel van den Berg, and the closing of the Leverhulme international network grant for Laplacians, Random Walks, Bose Gases and Quantum Spin Systems, a workshop on Laplacians, Walks and Condensation will be held at the School of Mathematics.

Getting here
By train: Arrive at Bristol Temple Meads Station, walk (15-20 minutes) or take a taxi to the Bristol Hotel (£10-12).
By bus: Arrive at Bristol Bus Station, walk (20-25 minutes) or take a taxi to the Bristol Hotel (£10-15)
By air: Arrive at Bristol airport, take the A1 bus (Bristol Flyer, £11 return, £7 one-way) to Bristol Bus and Coach Station, then walk (20-25 minutes) or a taxi to the Bristol Hotel (£10-15) OR take a taxi direct to the hotel (£30-£35)
Arriving at Heathrow: Go to (Heathrow) Central Bus Station (10-15 minute walk from the terminals); then take a bus to Bristol (costs around £40 bought on the day). There are buses to Bristol up to every hour on weekdays. Arrive at Bristol Bus Station. Walk (20-25 minutes) or take a taxi from there to the hotel (£10-15).
