Our LLB programme is a three-year qualifying law degree. The core and optional units reflect the wide variety of approaches to legal research adopted by the scholars in the Law School - and includes a second-year module on medical law and additional related third-year options.
LLM in Health, Law and Society
Marking a clear evolution in the field of Law and Health, this distinctive master's level degree goes beyond traditional courses on healthcare law. Looking at the relationships between law, governance, and health across society and governmental sectors it open up diverse career opportunities in and out of law.
Legal research spans the social sciences and humanities. As a PhD student in the Centre for Health, Law and Society you will be helping shape the health and social care sectors, investigating all law’s possibilities in terms of the provision, implementation and practice of health and well-being.
