This is a website of information from the Children's Society archives about the Society's children's homes and its work in the late 19th and 20th centuries. It was originally funded by the National Opportunities Fund as part of Citizenship Past. The website includes case studies and information on the homes, some background articles, scanned issues of journals produced by the Children's Society and original work by children which was inspired by some of the case studies.
