Black History Month

In the Bristol History Department we fervently believe that Black History should be embedded into our work all year round.  But that doesn't mean we can't put it front and center in October too!  So, each year we put on a series of special events, and put together exhibitions and other interventions which showcase the work of our staff and students on this crucial subject.  

This year, in recognition of Black History Month, staff and students at the University of Bristol have drawn on their own research to provide ‘History Snapshots’ of events, people, and artefacts related to black history.
