Abstract

MP Diane Abbott recently stated that Britain is facing a "crisis in masculinity". Recent media debates on contemporary experiences of manhood highlights the need to engage with research on men and masculinities. This roundtable event will explore the social and political parameters that surround the performance, sustainment, and subversion of different masculinities in contexts such as the military, schools, and sports.
