About the Faculty
The Faculty of Medical and Veterinary Science has an excellent reputation for teaching and research.
The Faculty teaches about 1400 BSc (Honours) undergraduates and 250 postgraduates in addition to the undergraduate students on the Medical and Dental programmes. Competition for entry to the Faculty’s programmes is strong and so the calibre of our intake is high. Graduates are equipped to take their place as clinicians, researchers and teachers and to continue their personal and professional development throughout their careers. There are five departments:
