Offer Holder Travel Reimbursement: terms and conditions

Go to an overview of the Offer Holder Travel Reimbursement.

Overview

The Offer Holder Travel Reimbursement allows prospective undergraduate students to claim a contribution towards travel costs after attending an interview or an offer holder visit day at the University of Bristol.

The University is only able to reimburse travel costs for events that have already been attended.

Eligibility

Payments are only made to prospective students who have applied for an undergraduate course via UCAS.

The Offer Holder Travel Reimbursement is means-tested. By submitting a claim form, you (or your parent/guardian) confirm that your gross household income is below the threshold for eligibility for funding. The University does not require evidence of income, however, we will receive household income data for any students that enrol and apply for means-tested support through one of the four UK funding providers.

Students holding a contextual offer are eligible regardless of their household income.

Only applicants who meet the eligibility criteria can receive the Offer Holder Travel Reimbursement. We cannot reimburse other attendees.

Award

To claim for multiple journeys (for example, an interview and an offer holder visit day) use a separate form for each claim.

During the assessment process, the University will determine the region (and subsequent reimbursement) based on the postcode of the address students travel from.
