The Nicholls Arts Bursary

UK first-year undergraduate students studying a single or joint honours theatre course can apply for a bursary towards living costs.

Two bursaries of £3,000 are available for first-year UK undergraduates who are applying to study a single or joint honours theatre course.

David Nicholls established the Nicholls Arts Bursary to support gifted students of theatre as they pursue their studies.

Eligibility

You can apply if you:

are holding an offer or awaiting a decision to study a single or joint honours theatre course in the Department of Theatre in 2023/24
have an assessed household income of £25,000 or less;
have not previously been to university;
are a UK first-year undergraduate.

The Nicholls Arts Bursary is part of the additional funding programme. You can apply via the additional funding page.

Applications will close on Thursday 16 May 2024 at 11:59 pm. Late applications will not be considered.
