Alumni Grant: Student Experience

The Alumni Grant: Student Experience supports the extra-curricular activities that make Bristol such an exciting and vibrant place to study, including sports clubs, cultural societies, theatre productions and media.

Who should apply?

The SEC Alumni Grants group invites applications for grants from any student, school, department or member of staff at the University. 

What is it?

The SEC Alumni Grants group considers applications that will enable current students or staff to enhance University life, and to assist with activities or projects which would not otherwise be possible.

How do I apply?

The SEC Alumni Grants group meets twice a year to consider funding applications. Please note our application deadlines as Student Experience awards are only made by the full committee at these bi-annual meetings.

Terms and conditions

The group has some general guidelines and principles that it uses when considering applications. Please read the guidelines carefully before applying.

When is the deadline?

The next application window will be between 3 September and 2 November 2020.

The SEC Alumni Grants group will meet in mid-November to consider applications.

There will be a further application window between March and May 2021.

Alumni Grant

The Alumni Grant is funded by donations from thousands of alumni and friends of the University to enhance the student experience.

Sports clubs, cultural societies and theatre productions have all been funded by the Alumni Grant: Student Experience in the past.
