Jez completed his BSc degree in Psychology at the University of Bath in 2011. During his final two years at university he worked as an honorary research assistant on the Helping Children Achieve project at the Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry (PCMD) in Exeter. The research was a longitudinal study that explored the benefits of multiple parenting interventions. Whilst at PCMD Jez also worked with members of the Prevention Team at Dartington Social Research Unit on a project exploring the relationships between parenting styles and children’s eating behaviours. It was during this time that Jez developed an interest in child health research. After finishing university Jez moved to Bristol were he currently works as a Fieldworker on the B-Proact1v Project in the Centre for Exercise, Nutrition and Health Sciences.
