Do students socialise regularly whilst studying?
At the start of term we hold an MSc Introductory Day that includes an ‘ice breaker’ session so that students have a chance to meet each other for the first time, get to know one another and talk about their backgrounds.  Two MSc students volunteer to be Social Representatives during the year.  They usually arrange events after assignment hand-ins to celebrate as well as a summer BBQ and Christmas social.
