In this talk Professor Dimitra Simeonidou, Director of the Smart Internet Lab at University of Bristol, will explore questions such as: what is 5G? Why do we need it? And what will the 5G future look like?

She will expand on details of the new 5G network in Bristol, the team that made it happen, and discuss opportunities it may bring to the city. She will also announce new projects across the region that could transform key business sectors and public experiences in the near future.
