Third year Computer Science student Alexis Monks named ‘One to Watch’

Social enterprise Code First: Girls compiles an annual list of ‘ambitious and exciting’ women under thirty who are developing their careers in tech

We’re sending a huge congratulations to Alexis Monks, a final year Computer Science student who has been named one of 25 young women to watch in the tech Industry. Alexis, who is the only undergraduate student on the list, is in prestigious company amongst CEOs, entrepreneurs, trail blazers and community builders from across the UK.

Alexis has served as the president of both the Computer Science Society and Women in Engineering Society and will be joining PA Consulting as a Digital Analyst when she graduates.

Code First: Girls is a social enterprise that works with companies and women directly to increase the proportion of women in tech and entrepreneurship. Programmes Manager, Rupinder Garcha said:
