Out of the Ground!

7 November 2016

The Queen’s Building extension, part of a £14 million investment by the University and the Faculty of Engineering, has come out of the ground with the first sections of the steel frame being erected by the University’s contractor Willmott Dixon.

This represents a significant milestone in the construction of the expanded Queen’s Building which will house flexible teaching space, a £1 million propulsion laboratory, new and refurbished engineering laboratories and post-graduate office space.
