A programme of talks and interactive events delivered by engineering industry insiders, many of whom are Bristol alumni.
Get an insight into a particular industry or type of career via this varied programme which is open to all students. Our Industry Insight series of technical talks and workshops involve a variety of companies: large multinationals like Airbus, Dyson and Google; smaller organisations such as Nova Systems and university start-ups like Ultrahaptics.
We invite engineers – typically Bristol graduates - to deliver the talks and interactive events. We try to make the talks relevant for as many students as possible. The talks take place mainly during lunchtimes (1pm - 2pm) on Tuesdays or Thursdays during the Autumn and Spring terms.
This weekly informal series also provides an opportunity to network and discuss any careers related or employability questions that you may have.
