Explore the challenges to and opportunities for using insurance to strengthen resilience to natural hazards in developing countries. The Insurance Development Forum is a public/private partnership expanding the use of insurance and risk management capabilities to build greater protection for those vulnerable to the economic shocks of natural disasters.
Tom Philp (AXA XL), Claire Souch (AWHA Consulting), and Dickie Whitaker and Jeremy Hindle (OASIS LMF) will join us to discuss how insurance practitioners and academics can collaborate to make insurance work for communities, businesses and public institutions in developing countries.
The event will start with presentations at 2 pm, followed by a drinks reception.
