Options with your Engineering PhD

This talk is being organised in collaboration between the Careers Service and the Faculty of Engineering. It is designed to introduce Engineering PhD students to some of the options available to them after their research. External speakers with experience of moving from research to industry and having moved up the academic career ladder will talk about the differences, challenges and benefits of their respective fields. 

There will also be information from the School Manager and an employer from industry on what support is available for women and people from diverse backgrounds that have studied for a PhD and wish to begin a successful and fulfilling career within or beyond academia.
