Nima Ameri, Senior Analytical Engineer from Rolls-Royce, will be giving a short presentation on how his research degree has benefited his career. Current Engineering PhD and EngD students will talk about their experience and the Postgraduate Faculty Employability Consultant will give a presentation on the benefits and practicalities of undertaking a PhD.

All students welcome - bring your lunch.

For an hour after the seminar, the Faculty of Engineering Employability Adviser Gareth Hughes (Careers Service) will be available in the foyer of the Merchant Venturers Building (upper atrium) for students to drop in and talk about anything careers related, including any queries, CV advice and how to access further support.

The Inside Track Seminar series is an informal forum aimed at students to provide a regular opportunity to discuss in an open environment any industry or careers related issues you have. Each week will have a theme, but there will also be the opportunity to bring any other questions you have (e.g. about CVs, job applications, types of industry, internships etc.). Members of staff from the Careers Service and Industrial Liaison Office will be at each session, and each week we will invite relevant guests from industry.
