The University of Bristol Computer Science Society (CSS) are proud to invite you to an afternoon of talks and discussion on the experiences of women in computer science and engineering in general.

October 14th is Ada Lovelace day, a celebration of the achievements of women in computer science and other STEM subjects. Ada herself was a mathematician and is widely credited as the first ever computer programmer. We are holding a series of talks from a number of university staff, alumni and industrial representatives on their experiences working in computer science related fields.

This free event will take place between on Wednesday 15 October 2014 between 13:00 and 17:00 in 1.11 MVB and is open to the public or anyone interested in the topics being discussed.
