Venue: EPCC, The University of Edinburgh

You are invited to join us for the official WiHPC Network Launch. This is your opportunity to find out more about the network that aims to inspire, connect and train women in HPC. The event will discuss the obstacles facing women in HPC today, how to broaden participation and talks from HPC professionals. Refreshments and a buffet lunch will be provided.

Women in HPC (WiHPC) is a new network initiative that aims to supports collaboration and networking by bringing together female High Performance Computing (HPC) scientists, researchers, developers, users and technicians from across the UK.

We encourage women in HPC to engage in outreach activities and improve the visibility of inspirational role models. Our activities are complemented by research into the influence of UK equality initiatives on the HPC community.
