Engineers Without Borders

Engineers Without Borders Bristol are a student run charity interested in international development we are currently running two projects one related to providing drinking water in India with the charity Frank Water and the other trying to provide affordable sustainable energy resources for both an urban and rural population in India with the charity the Converging World.

On Wednesday 2nd Oct at 6.30pm, Queen's Building Room 1.18 we will be hosting a joint event with Engineers Without Borders South West Professional Network. During  this event we will be explaining more about the two projects and how staff and professionals can get involved. There will also be talks about recent development projects undertaken by students and a young professional.

We are looking for help from anyone with an interest in development work in India in either water or renewable energy to help us with our projects. This can be from any area: social, economical, technical. Both these projects are highly multidisciplinary and we need input from all areas of expertise as we want to deliver well rounded projects.
