Whether you are applying for a work experience placement or a graduate job, find out direct from an Engineering employer how to improve your chance of success at your next interview and how to make a positive impression at an assessment centre.

This informal Q&A session with employer input from Atkins Defence will focus on providing hints and tips to help you stand out from the crowd. Members of staff from the Careers Service and Industrial Liaison Office will also be at this seminar to answer your questions.

The Inside Track Seminar series is an informal forum aimed at students to provide a regular opportunity to discuss in an open forum any industry or careers related issues you have. Each week will have a theme, but there will also be the opportunity to bring any other questions you have (e.g. about CVs, job applications, types of industry, internships etc.). Members of staff from the Careers Service and Industrial Liaison Office will be at each session, and each week we will invite relevant guests from industry.
