Research summary

My research interests include wearable technologies, robot hands, hand exoskeletons, robot kinematics and haptics and bio-inspired robotics. I am especially interested in applications of robotics in surgery, preventative medicine, rehabilitation, physiotherapy and dexterous tele-operation.

Biography

I joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Bristol as a Lecturer in Robotics in January 2019. Prior to this, I was a Lecturer in Mechatronics at Bristol Robotics Lab, UWE since 2017, while also participating in the European H2020 funded project SMARTsurg.

I obtained my PhD in Medical Robotics from the Bristol Robotics Laboratory and the Department of Engineering and Mathematics, UWE in 2016.
