Research summary

My current research is in RF and Wireless Communications Security. I am currently exploring RF-Cyber Physical Security Techniques based on Supervised Machine Learning (ML), Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), Deep Neural Networks (DNNs), Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) and Demodulation Free Random Access (DFRA) for secure RF transmission and more importantly (i) localisation, (ii) identification, and (iii) classification of RF attacks and threats, for the SWAN project.

The SWAN research that I undertake, foucusses on PHY Layer and MAC Layer secuirty, and is interdisciplinary having a strong focus on RF active circuit design, passive circuit design and the design of SWAN ...

Biography

I am a Senior Research Associate RF Transceiver Architect for the SWAN (Secure Wireless Agile Networks) EPSRC Project.

I completed my Ph.D., which was fully funded through the RAPID 5G EU H2020-Japan Consortium as well as Richard Collier Scholarship Programme, from the University of Kent in 2019. My research focus was on (i) 5G Massive MIMO, and (ii) millimetre wave (mmWave) hybrid beamforming. It also included experiments on multi-user mmWave radio-over-fiber (RoF) systems for implementing spatial multiplexing and mmWave sub-carrier multiple access [SCMA], and, experiments with mmWave lens antenna systems. I continued as a Research Associate which was partly ...
