Our students' projects

Student projectsOn this programme you'll have the opportunity to work on fascinating and wide-ranging projects.

Below is an example project proposal from the 2015/16 year:

  • Fibre Coupling of Micropillar devices for Quantum Information Applications

    Supervised by: Dr. Ruth Oulton

The aim of this project was to reject most of the photons from laser source (achieve high polarization extinction ratio) and to obtain high capture efficiency from quantum dot.
