Dr Stuart Gray

Stuart joined the Centre for Innovation at the University of Bristol in 2017 after completing his PhD in serious games for physical and cognitive wellbeing with children. Stuart's postgraduate work was completed at the University of Edinburgh and undergraduate work at Heriot-Watt University.

His background and interests lie in human computer interaction, considering how people use technology and helping to design better experiences. A great deal of Stuart's work has involved working closely with children and school, to create new technology through user-centred design partnerships. His work at University of Bristol, is applying these participatory design skills to new groups, including working with children in care and adoption, and even exploring design with animals.
