How to apply to a postgraduate programme

The Water & Environmental Management programme is open to those with acceptable entry qualifications for postgraduate study at UK universities.

Practical Professionals in Industry are welcome to attend any of the modules as individual units without accessing the full programme. They are of particular benefit to those wishing to advance their career in the water and environmental services industries and other manufacturing/service industries by an integrated widening of their environmental knowledge base.  The course combines targeted education and training for the water and environmental career professional in the 21st century.

Applications for our MSc and PhD research degrees are accepted throughout the year, but you can check with the Graduate School of Engineering for any funding deadlines which may affect you when you apply.

Entry requirements for our programmes vary, but we would generally expect you to have an upper second-class Undergraduate (Bachelor's) degree or equivalent. Ideally you should have a degree in a relevant field, although we may accept applicants from different (non-related) backgrounds. More detailed information about entry requirements can be found in the Admissions Statements for our research programmes.

Applications for our EngD in Systems programme are accepted throughout the year. You can find the latest vacanies on the Systems Centre website.

Once you have identified a suitable project and determined your eligibility then you can apply online.

All applicants are encouraged to apply online.  A paper application can by also be requested by emailing pg-admissions@bristol.ac.uk.
