Outstanding support for graduates
We host a vibrant and diverse postgraduate community of over 700 students, from all round the world. Our programmes continuously evolve to stay at the cutting edge of research and industrial advances.
Support for postgraduates
Graduate Education is provided through our two school offices. They deliver dedicated and expert administrative support to all postgraduate students in the Faculty of Engineering. Since 2006 £20 million UK government funding has supported our Centres for Doctoral Training - four years' training in research and professional skills.
Training and development
The Faculty team provides a programme of professional skills training for postgraduate students.
Partnership with industry
Many of our doctoral and masters projects run in close partnership with industry, providing outstanding opportunities for all our postgraduate students to develop a wide range of high-level skills in addition to their specialised technical knowledge, and to start building their networks within their chosen profession.
We are a partner university of choice for many leading companies because of the qualities of our graduates.
Investing in the future
