"Bristol is amazing! Whilst it is a city, it is not over-populated, nor too busy.  It is relatively compact as you can access most part of the city by foot.  It is a safe place to be and people are generally friendly and nice.  There are also green parks, hills and a harbour – all in one city!  Overall, it is a peaceful city to live, study and work in."  More...

Chetan Ammanakere Gangamanahalli - MSc Management

The best part of studying here for me is the research based learning.  Professors teach you just the basics of the theories and modules or give you an outline of what the subject/model is for and how it can be used in management.  Rest is for the students to read the books, journals, articles etc to gain more knowledge about the subject.  I must mention that students are not left alone in their research.  Professors and tutors are very helpful and encouraging.  This way of learning lasts long and gives you the in-depth knowledge.  Research based learning also brings out the capabilities which one would have not been aware of.  I was never aware that I could read/research on my own and write essays/business reports.  Now I am confident about myself after what I have scored in my assignments and exams.  More...

"A combination of big classes and small tutorials are used as methods of teaching, which is something unique about this university. Classes have helped me to get exposure as one of many international students and tutorials give me more of the teacher's attention with high class participation, without compromising the quality of teaching."  More...
